Complexity: Life at the Edge of Chaos
by Roger Lewin,
Collier Books, Macmillan Publishing Company, New York (1992)
paperback, 208 pages (out of print)

|
It is hard to believe that this book has gone out of
print. Roger Lewin does an incredible job in tying together so many of the disparate
knowledge areas involved with complexity, and does so in a highly readable and
understandable way. His talks with Kauffman, Wilson and others make this a pivotal
work for those seeking to understand the interrelationship between complexity, chaos,
evolution, emergence, and consciousness -- just for beginnings. An excellent work. |
