Kurt Lewin (1890 - 1947) was one of the most creative individuals in the fields of psychology and social psychology.  Because of his contributions, the American Psychological Association (APA)  reissued these two pivotal books as a single volume.  Resolving Social Conflicts was first released in 1948 while Field Theory in Social Science was first published in 1951.

Our fascination with Lewin is the practical and pragmatic way he applied field theory into the social context, setting the stage for current day work in complexity and chaos.
