Complexification
Explaining a Paradoxical World Through the Science of
Surprise
John L. Casti
Published by HarperPerennial (1995). Paperback, 336 pages,
Reprint edition
 |
Casti is one of the most prolific and readable
writers in the area of
chaos theory and complexity. He addresses a number of complicated issues, such as
catastrophe theory and emergence, but his style and approach make the text very
readable.
The concepts he addresses are not necessarily easy to understand, but Casti is one
of the most competent readers able to draw the reader in while making complex issues
understandable. |
